Revision Plan for “Beginning of the end”

The first part of my revision, which is viewable in the essay, is the title.  You will notice that the title is now the same font size and style, without extra capitalizations.  Aside from the typical cleaning up of typing errors (unintentional misspellings, extra punctuation, etc…), there are many run-on sentences.  I really need to pay attention to this problem when writing.  That seems to be my biggest problem with this essay.  The main plan to correct this from this moment on is simple, take a breath, read it out loud, and listen to what was said.  I read back over the mistakes and it is all so clear to me what is wrong.  But at the time of writing, since I did not take the time to do this, I never caught these problems before I turned in the essay.  I apparently felt that I needed to rush through the essay to get all my thoughts on paper.  If I would just relax a little instead of being so rigid, I may catch the mistakes as they happen instead of having misplaced words and/or punctuation.

The easiest, and possibly the most effective way for me to improve the tale, is to do everything one step at a time.  If I feel rushed, just go ahead and put the thoughts on the page.  Once that is done, I can relax a bit more and start the critical portion of the revision.  I seem to still have an issue with the “be creative first, and then be judgmental.”  If I can get this into my head, I am confident that, not only will my writing improve, but my revisions will probably a lot easier to work on.
